Ron den Engelsen appointed to Board of Management Groeneveld Group

Monday 28 June, 2010 – Groeneveld Group in Gorinchem, the Netherlands, today announced that Ron den Engelsen has been appointed Vice-President, Marketing, Communications & Business Development in the Board of Management, as per August 1, 2010. Since January 2000, den Engelsen was director Communications at DAF Trucks N.V, responsible for both Corporate Communications and Marketing Communications.

The Groeneveld Group of companies includes Groeneveld Transport Efficiency and GreenCat Telematics and Transport Management Systems. For almost 40 years, the company is active in the development, manufacturing and marketing & sales of advanced systems for automated maintenance, safety and efficiency improvement in transport, construction and mining, agricultural applications and industry.

Ron den Engelsen (55) studied automotive technology in Apeldoorn, the Netherlands. After a ten year career as a car and truck editor, he joined DAF in 1990. He held several management positions in corporate communications and marketing communications. In 2000 Ron was appointed Director Communications at DAF Trucks N.V., a PACCAR Company. Ron is married and has three sons.
